With the increasing criminal actions in the country, back ground check are now becoming standard thing to do for companies as well as personal. Parents tend to use the service of background check more than before in hiring household support, such as: maid, driver, private teacher, baby sitter, etc. It is no longer expensive strange procedure that limited to well establish companies. The budget for conducting back ground check is now affordable; it could be obtained by less than fifty dollars. For our knowledge, here are the three types of background check:

Basic One State Background Check

The criminal record is only checked for a single state data base. The main challenge of accessing the information is there is no database in all states that giving permission to access all of the data, including criminal data base. For certain accessible data, it is not up to dated, mostly it is two years behind.

Multi State Criminal Checks

This is the standard and primary background check. The report is quite comprehensive because it has access to about 80% of criminal record from forty six states. State Level Criminal Background Checks

This background check accesses the data from state repository criminal record. This is secondary data as a result of state requirement to get the criminal report from various criminal justice agencies. Because it is not a primary data, the information is not up to date. It is probably to be 70% or 80% of police and county criminal record.

County Criminal Background Checks
These Background Checks could be recommended back ground check at the minimum. The repot will be based on the search of the county or counties where the subject has lived for the last couple years.
